PSNC Grant


The Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC) offers access to computing systems equipped with the most modern data storage systems, access networks and rich scientific software. Resources are granted for people conducting scientific research on the basis of a computational grant application.

Procedure

Applications are usually processed within 14 days, although time may be extended.

Computing Grant can be granted for up to 3 years.

Access to machines

After accepting the application, you get access to the cluster via SSH. To use this connection from Windows you need to use:

  • Connecting to the machine via SSH (terminal)- PuTTY
  • Transferring files to the machine - WinSCP, FileZilla
    If you are using a Linux machine, the only command you have to use is:
  • ssh <host>

To perform some calculations you need to use the special queue system SLURM - its operation is reduced to a few commands in the console.
